Time to make a wish. The next season of Destiny 2 has arrived, carrying with it the promise of new story relating to the Witness, plus the arrival of a new dungeon, seasonal activity, The Witcher collab, new Weapons, and more!

Warlord's Ruin - New Dungeon Release Date
A new Year-6 dungeon called Warlord's Ruin will release during Season of the Wish on December 1, 2023 at 9 AM PST. This is included with the Lightfall Dungeon Key!
Seasonal Activity: Riven's Lair
Taking place in a spawling underworld beneath the Dreaming City, this new 3-player activity sees you avoiding traps and defeating powerful enemies in order to retrieve the last of Riven's uncorrupted eggs, with Riven granting the Fifteenth Wish in return.
Destiny x The Witcher Collab
A new collection of items are available in-game that are inspired by the world of The Witcher, and the adventures of Geralt of Rivia. With a new armor set for each class, you'll be sure to look fit for monster-killing!
- Hunter - White Wolf
- Warlock - Hexer
- Titan - Kaer Morhen
Not only that, but players can acquire the new Wolven Storm ship and a VGH Sparrow inspired by Geralt's trusty steed, Roach; you'll note the thruster effect looks just like the Igni sign! A Wolf School skin for the Ghost is also available, and the iconic bath scene from The Witcher 3 is replicated via the "Tub Time" emote.
All of the above items are available in Destiny 2's Eververse store.
Dragon's Breath Exotic Returns
The Dragon's Breath Exotic Rocket Launcher has returned! Look for it on the Season of the Wish Seasonal reward track, with some new updates:

New Artifact - Queensfoil Censer
The Queensfoil Censer is the Seasonal Artifact this time around, containing Unstoppable Bows and Overload Rocket Launchers amongst other Artifact Perks.
New Legendary Weapons
6 new Legendary weapons are available with the launch of this Season:
- Supercluster – Slug Shotgun - Strand
- Scatter Signal – Rapid-Fire Fusion Rifle - Strand
- Appetence – Trace Rifle - Stasis
- Scalar Potential – Rapid-Fire Pulse Rifle - Arc
- Lethophobia – Lightweight Bow - Void
- Doomed Petitioner – Linear Fusion Rifle - Void
The Dreaming City weapons you can get from the Blind Well, the Shattered Throne, and the Ascendant Challenge chests are also returning with thematic updates. They are as follows:
- Tigerspite - Precision Auto Rifle - Kinetic
- Waking Vigil - Adaptive Hand Cannon - Arc
- Sleepless - High Impact Rocket - Arc
- Vouchsafe - Lightweight Scout - Void
- Retold Tale - Precision Shotgun - Void
- Twilight Oath - Rapid-Fire Sniper - Solar
- Abide the Return – Adaptive Sword - Solar
All of the above weapons have new perk pools and a new Origin Trait called Advanced Reflexes. Four Season of the Undying Legendary weapons are also available, that are both craftable but have also acquired the Nano-Munitions Origin Trait:

- Adhortative - Adaptive Pulse Rifle - Solar
- Imperative - High-Impact Scout Rifle - Kinetic
- Subjunctive - Lightweight Submachinegun – Arc
Destiny 2 Season of the Wish Economy and Rewards Tuning
The following changes have been made to tune the Destiny 2 Economy and Rewards for Season of the Wish:

New Lost Sector Rewards
Weapons will drop at these rates, assuming the Guardian is thorough enough to leave no Champions standing:
- Legend – 70%
- Master – 100%
The following weapons will be available from Lost Sectors during Season of the Wish:

Ritual Engrams Changes
From the start of Season of the Wish, ritual activities completion rewards now include additional drops of ritual engrams (Vanguard, Crucible, Gambit). Here are the new costs of ritual vendor focusing:

Fireteam Finder Stress Test & Beta
Starting on November 30th, 2023, a raid stress test will be carried out using the Fireteam Finder, the in-game group finding solution tool. Throughout the Season several tests will be held to ensure it is running smoothly by the time that The Final Shape launches.
Crucible Playlists
Several new playlists have been created, such as the 3v3 and 6v6 Quickplay nodes, which'll let players compete against one another. More rewards are being added, and other game modes and modifiers (such as Checkmate) are being tweaked to make the overall experience more challenging and balanced.

Gunsmith Engrams
In the Tower, Banshee-44 will now accept a new type of Engram - Gunsmith Engrams, which can be focused for Foundry weapons from previous seasons in a daily rotation.
